In 2018, the filmmaker Cristiano Burlan finishes a documentary about the artist's work. For this, he accompanies the artist during the external actions of Track for 2 places - Cythera (Greek island) and Santa Rosa (Argentine pampa).

Track for 2 places is one of the works that form the Poetic Method for Losing Control of Locality, started in 1985 and finished in 2017. The four works that constitute the Poetic Method for Losing Control of Locality (4 cantos, Um canto para onde não canto, Verso and Trilha para 2 lugares) always have a poem as a starting point. Track for 2 places starts from Mallarmé’s poem – “A throw of the dice never will abolish chance”.

Cristiano mirrors the artist by pointing out his own languages and common procedures and builds a portrait of Nelson's creative and reflective process.
